The communities noted here are all for the Southern zone of Allegheny County. This will include the current subway network, and the now South Busway, and my proposed changes to replace it with my version of the South Busway. The current South Busway will be renamed South Corridor. Obviously, routes in between Downtown, and the community noted here will also be served.
There will be one thing to consider. Many of the 40s routes will terminate at South Hills Junction. This will allow the rider to transfer to another route to enter Downtown. This is done to reduce the number of primary routes, and allows for a negotiation of consoldating the bus routes as they enter Downtown.
