Carrick will have 2 routes that would serve Carrick. This will be designed to split the 51: Carrick into 2 routes. With that in mind, as the need arises, there could be more routes added to the designation, and improve quality of service. Carrick will be assigned the number 52, and the routes are as follows:
- 521S: West Mifflin
- S521: Carrick
521S: West Mifflin
The 521S: West Mifflin will operate as the 51: Carrick‘s limited service option to go to West Mifflin. This route will eventually connect with the Allegheny County Airport, and provide service for those that would also to a Sam’s Club, and a Walmart. This service will operate between the airport, and Brentwood Loop. From the Brentwood Loop, riders can transfer to the S521: Carrick to go Downtown.
S521: Carrick
The S521: Carrick will operate just like the 51: Carrick that is serving Brentwood Loop. There is not much more to say except that those wishing to go to West Mifflin will have to board the 521S: West Mifflin to connect. This is a happier medium ground, and will allow those trips to West Mifflin to be more less frequent than the S521: Carrick if the need should arise.
